POPVOX, Inc. welcomes new intern, Abby Simmons

Welcome, Abby!

POPVOX Inc. is pleased to welcome Abby Simmons as an intern for the summer.

She will help with research on capacity in state and local legislatures, with a focus on AI-enabled tools and resources.

Abby is a recent graduate of Randolph-Macon College, where she studied political science, Spanish, and economics, and pursued research related to U.S. immigration policy. She brings experience from the Virginia House of Delegates and the U.S. House of Representatives, where she developed a strong interest in constituent services.

In the coming year, Abby plans to pursue a master’s degree in political science in Florence, Italy, with a focus on European Union politics. We’re glad to have her as part of the POPVOX team!
